The nba to change its Load Management rules. NBA teams are no longer allowed to rest two star players at the same time. 1 million dollar plus fines

It's not lost on me that the constant bytching and moaning from fans about load management is only a thing with an overwhelmingly black League like the NBA because you don't see the same complaints in Soccer or Baseball Leagues where they do the exact same shyt.

NBA has been way more blatant with marketing stars clashing on primetime tv slots, only for GameDay to come and nikkas resting. shyt like that is CLEARLY an issue especially with the new TV deal incoming, nobody got time for that shyt.

You tryna make this about race but it's not, the coach who invented this was doing it with foreigners :why: people complained back then too

just because most of the league stars are black that doesn't mean they can't be called out for bullshyt, leave this in the players hands and you may as well not even bother watching basketball until after the All Star break :russell: them boys rich as fukk and lazy with extremely low pain thresholds

fines really aint shyt if its coming out the team pockets and not the player. these is billion dollar organizations breh :mjlol:
If a team is gonna incur those type of fines, teams are gonna start pulling hell fukkery, the kind of fukkery that compromises the game in a way that pisses off the paying customer even if you saw them play. When star players start sitting out 4th quarters or 2nd halves of games and the justification is "I wasn't planning on playing him at all," that's gonna get real petty.

:mjlol: Soccer players are rested for low level cup matches, they arent being rested for big champions league games on national TV. NBA players are. Your baseball point is try hard shyt like usual
First of all, Soccer/Futbol players are absolutely rested for big matches all the fukking time. What are you talking about lol?

Second, why are you comparing big Champions League matches to regular season games which NBA fans have made clear don't actually matter at all?

Do you see stars being rested in the Postseason?

Again, it's only a heightened critique because NBA fans are literally the only Sports fans that openly hate their Sport.

bytching and moaning because stars are strategtically rested to prevent injuries for the only portion of the season y'all care about.

lmao you actually think this?

the same teams that will trade players because they don't want to pay an extra 100k in luxury taxes

there are very few owners that aren't cheap

same owners that fired employees in the pandemic to save some bucks

Do Burrow and Allen play 82 games in a season?

Is the NFL considered a Chamionship or Bust League?
Your original premise was about race not number of games or championship or bust. Thats what I responded to.

I am all for calling out racial shyt. This aint that. This is all about money...gambling to be specific.

Nah fam, the NBA needs to do something about this bullshyt. People pay they hard earned money to come watch these players play, as long as they are physically able to play they need to get up and play. My job not finna keep me around if I'm only working 50% of the time, don't matter how good I am.

I'll concede that there should be an allowance of 'missable' games due to load management. Maybe like 4 games a season and you gotta let the league know in advance when they gonna be so fans don't pay high price tickets to a game to see a star play and then the star player doesn't play.

I'd be pissed if I paid to see... say... Giannis play, and he wants to sit that game cause he needs to load manage.

This is a horrible comparison. It’s the job that wants these players rested.

As far as paying to see players play. I’ve personally been to over 50 but less than 100 NBA games. It’s been times where the star player or player I really wanted to see was off for the night, and I did not cry cause I understand that’s how professional sports work.

You didn't pay to see Giannis play. You paid to see the Bucks vs. whoever the opponent was. The NBA isn't interested in what your why is.

Many teams either know they're going to the playoffs and don't give a fukk how they get there or know they're tanking.

The handful of teams in that middle area almost never load manage, but those are also some of those teams that nobody wants to watch
