I'm not white and I love Eminem, Budden, Kendrick Lamar and all those other rappidity rap rappers. Rap is not one dimensional, even though most of you guys only listen to 2 or 3 rappers in your playlist.

u make a good point. it sounded like an eminem verse. one thing i hate about these "who murdered who on who song" is that it is reductionist. a song should work on all levels. the music should be great. the way the rappers interact with the music, vocally should be great. lyrics should be complex, casual and resonate, which insures multiple listens. this kendrick verse. who gives a fx apart from the rappers he getting at and black twitter. i dont need to hear that verse again. i hope he aint gonna turn into another eminem. his voice sounds horrible as well.

love kendrick and i disagree with the OP...

but im bothered by the idea that kendrick thinks that loud energy and cramming words together constitutes higher skill. i was upset that he changed his verse on the joint with jay z...clearly to sound competitive...when his original verses were just fine. and the joint everybody is talking about...jay e's verse - very skilled, metered, controlled, well written...all distracted by kendrick sounding insecure and trying harder than he has too. hes talented but he sounds like he has a complex about something...
