Michael Jai White's Black Dynamite did a better job spoofin' the 70s. They should have gotten the same crew that did that. This shyt looks horrible, like a very bad amateur play. It doesn't have that 70s feel at all SMH. I always hated hustle and flow.

Eddie shoudn't even think of returning to standup. He's been completely out of the loop for decades now. His mannerisms are off, you can tell he aint been in the streets like that since the early 90s. This is a dude who refused to attend def comedy jam events, when russell invited him to be a guest back in the day.

yeah, but comedians real lives are dark as hell. Look at Richard Pryor.

It shouldnt be. It should be an oscar vehicle for Mike Epps.
some parts will be but like they said, this will be dramatic in a lot of parts, just like Badassss. it will show all of his struggles of making the Dolemite movies. its Netflix, I will watch it a few times I am sure.

He found humor in his fukked up life. It will be a dishouner to his memory to make a sad movie about his life. Tell the truth but it don't have to be precious.
