Kike Moe Dee has surpassed Hov by far in terms commercial success, but he's bout as close to our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd as a rapper as Ja Rule is to Ghostface, & tbh Drizzy Vanilli ain't even fukking with post-TBA Hov much less the GOAT in his prime.

Hov has the GOAT catalog including 6 classics & the GOAT solo (TBA) & collab (WTT) albums plus a classic mixtape. Bladder Juice Papi's catalog has 0 classics & wouldn't crack top 25.
Hov is the GOAT lyricist with the GOAT flow. Jewpac Shakike ain't top 25 in either category.

To call Ludakike the next Hov legacy wise is fair, but artistically it's blasphemous especially since Hov has zero confirmed ghostwriters & LL Kike J already has several & counting.

What song? What verse? How many years ago was that? That was then, this is now, drakes on the Throne right now, we'll see if Jay responds

What would Jay respond to? That line was a compliment if I ever heard one. It'd be different if Drake said "then I surpassed Jay", which would have been quite easy to do, but instead he bragged about turning into Jay. There's no greater compliment then admitting being someone else is what you aspire to. As they say, imitation is the highest form of flattery.

I wouldn't say he even passed Hov commercially.

Jay has a run from 98 - 13 where all his albums had Top 40 hits

Nah. I bet if u ask Nas right now he would tell u that He is not Rakim or on Rakims level even if his fans think he is or if he himself thinks he is, because when you are humble and are a fan of a legend, you just say you aspire to be that. Lol at him saying he is Jay z is a compliment, yea 2 or 3 albums in with no certified classics and not even a decade in the game as a relevant rapper and your Jay z right

Lol

Don't get me wrong, I wholeheartedly disagree with Drakes claim, I'm just saying he means it as a compliment. You're probably right about Nas, but both Jay and Drake are different types of rappers then Nas, they're not on that humble shyt at all. Jay has been saying he's the greatest for quite some time now, and it's only a matter of time before Drake tries to claim that too. He won't get too far with it though, like you said, no classics.
