First one sold like 12 million.:heh:
that may be true but the game didn't have legs, and without a promise of improvements, there's not a lot of incentive to buy the second game

they trying to get the message out that they have made improvements to MP, and added a SP campaign, but it's all getting overshadowed by this microtransaction talk

it's a dangerous situation for them, because there's a lot of competition out there, and players don't need many reasons to not buy their game

:mjlol:

bruh

EVERY star wars game has legs

the problem with this is that it got out of hand way quicker than they could reel it in - the potential bullshyt of governments hitting them for gambling processes is what forced such a strong, quick reaction

"injustice 2 ain't have to deal with this :dahell: why us?"

"SF5 ain't even good :damn:"

Whats the difference between loot boxes and the packs on Madden Ultimate Teams that madden players been dealing with for years? People day one spending big money on packs to get better players. Shyts sick imo

EA mad as hell that they're the ones to get clapped for this when the whole gaming world been scheming for the past 5 years :lolbron:

Yeah at the end of the day, these companies are in business to make money. When I was in LA I almost signed on to work at Capcom on the business side. When you look at it from the company's standpoint it makes sense. EA took data from the beta and was using that to determine pricing and rewards for characters, etc.

In any other business using data to maximize profits makes sense. But they took it too far and now they're suffering a PR nightmare.

Ultimately it's gamer's fault for blindly supporting big name franchises year after year. Like I saw how mad people were about NBA 2k18, but all of those people will buy again next year. It will be interesting to see how this plays out now that gamers can see they have a voice.

I see EA dropping them MT back in the game when this dies down.
