"Guy Fieri is a pox on professional chefs. I think the Donkey Sauce may be seasoned with the tears of Gordon Ramsay and Anthony Bourdain."

that review is just scathing. i love it.
i can't stand Fieri because his was the first season of "Next food network chef". a bullshyt gimmick show that in my opinion began the food networks fall from grace and took over the channel. :scusthov: fukk that show and fukk him.

food net's alternate channel "Cooking Channel" >>>>>>>>>

He's got a new show starting, The Layover. Looks like the same shyt, fly around, eat and drink.

Exactly ! ALL Times Square restaurants suck, with the exception of Carmines and Bond40. It's basically just a place stupid tourists can go, eat a shytty meal, and be happy. Then go home and tell people that they ate at Guy's restaurant.

Pretty much.

They're all big gimmicky ass shytholes dressed up in bright Neon lights.

Havana Central, the Cuban spot not too far from Guy's spot, is HORRIBLE...bland as shyt Cuban food. Meanwhile, the hole in the wall Cuban spot Malagon right across the street kills them with the real authentic Cuban cuisine.

I don't see how anyone can visit this city and not search for the low profile, high quality restaurants which flood this city.

there are a few gems in the area, a few in the theater district and a few blocks off of the mega lights and billboards. but i almost feel like the critic is that much dumber for expecting anything spectacular from a guy fieri burger in times square.

You ain't neva lie. My office is right across the street from there. The other little spot is more in the middle of the block, by the Muse hotel right ? I've yet to walk in there.

Why is one of the few things on your menu that can be eaten without fear or regret — a lunch-only sandwich of chopped soy-glazed pork with coleslaw and cucumbers — called a Roasted Pork Bahn Mi, when it resembles that item about as much as you resemble Emily dikkinson?

:russ: at Guy throwing soy sauce on some pork and calling it a Vietnamese sub.
