A very unnecessary line that adds nothing to the article itself.
The author:
the author is talking about racialized stereotypes and comparing them. As such, she identifies one stereotype (lust for big breasts) as ascribed to white men, while another (hunger for ass) is ascribed to black men. She is not saying that black men have a hunger for ass, she is saying black men get depicted as having hunger for ass. Whoever gets offended by this lacks reading comprehension or just wants to instigate outrage.
