Something like 60% of gamepass subs are on console. They simply have to offer something in attempt keep those folks around.

The console they offer will shyt on the POS6 in terms of ability and so you'll have to convince yourself 1 Sony game a year with some of those years consisting of Lego Horizon. Each gen you lose those 3rd party exclusives (say bye bye Enix)

So what is your angle? Microsoft is pushing the boundaries right now and they will adjust so that they are priced where they need to be.

The only boundaries Microsoft is pushing in 2025 are developer layoffs by the thousands and egregious price increases 5 years into the hardware cycle
