WWE rumoured to be heavily interested in top NJPW star
Kenny Omega might have already been in the WWE by now, but ‘The Cleaner’ turned down three offers from the WWE in 2015, stating his desire to face former tag team partner Kota Ibushi when he returned from injury.
The funny thing is, Ibushi left NJPW when he came back, and is now competing in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and is set to sign a deal with the company.
Many believe Ibushi is the catalyst to Omega joining the WWE.
TRIPLE H IS A FAN
They’re also reporting that this is a move from Triple H himself, which means if he’s intent on bringing him to the company, he’ll probably succeed despite interest from elsewhere as people now know what they can achieve if The Game has your back, just ask Balor.
As expected, there are stumbling blocks which prevent this from happening, as NJPW stars under contract aren’t allowed to talk to other promotions
I remember reading another article and he said his term to sign was they had to sign the young bucks too

I can imagine Vince is losing his fukking mind with HHH poaching Indy midgets, and handing them out six figured contracts.
