It's hard to dismiss it. The refs stay keeping golden boys of the west, the Hawks, in games and bailing their sorry ass out. They did it in Detroit and Dallas. The refs helped the Lambs beat the Cards so they can stay close to the Hawks' sorry ass. The scheduling crew gave both teams a bye before they face each other. They WANTED a showdown between the best of the West. But to that, the refs had to make sure that Seattle remains one of the best teams in the West for ratings. Despite they clearly are NOT the same team they were last year.

I don't know about all THAT but you know I'm a Seahawks fan, between The NFC Championship and the Superbowl. I'm convinced(well I've been convinced) something was up.

Nope.

At this point if it had been fixed with this many disgruntled ass NFL employees we would've had a confession by a conspirator on some level kinda like Donaghy in the NBA, which has had enough games that got reffed so shytty it looked fixed by the 1st quarter. Some of y'all should just admit you don't know the damn rules or never played.

Edit: Just on point #1. NFL refs are part time employees, but the NFL picks a lot of judges, lawyers, and people who can't afford to get caught up in a gambling scheme. For example, Donaghy gets caught gambling he loses his job. A lawyer gets caught in gambling he loses the ability to practice law. I've known about this practice since I was 16 years old. You meant to tell me the cat that wrote all of that didn't know that or bother to research it and expects me to take the theory seriously?? You can say you hate their decision OR even call them incompetent, but y'all gotta stop with some of these theories.
The nfl deems it self a sports entertainment business. Which means they don't have to follow the same rules as other leagues.
They are legally allowed to fix games because it's sold as entertainment. They can script anything they want. And as long as you play along you will get paid. Coaches(wonder why there are SO many retreads?), refs, owners, everyone..except maybe the players.
Ever wonder how teams could be scoring at will, or dominating on defense then all of a sudden they just end up sucking?
These coaches and coordinators are in on this shyt. But the refs are the biggest culprits

Honestly, I'm more pissed that these games are losing me money. Not every game. But there are a lot of weird fukking things that go on that be fukking up teams...and outcomes. A lot of them for no reason.

Like why the fukk didn't Jacobs go for the td? A few weeks back?

nikka you acting like you got ties to Paul Allen or Rodger Goodell or some shyt.
There are way too many people who's very livlihood relies on their teams ability to win games. From head coaches down to the position coaches to the equipment managers. Head coaches go from making millions a year to a few hundred thousand if they fail to perform. I've seen formerly successful coordinators get pushed out of the league and have to take shytty jobs in the UFL or CUSA schools because of non performing.

Too many moving pieces to really fix shyt in the league, I feel. Refs may try to make games closer at times it make calls allowing for faster offensive flow. But I would honestly be surprised if it was more than that.

Talked to this mobbed up dude years back.. He's said games have been fixed since the NFL started. They just have to be more subtle about it because of all the eyes on games now. That's why the nFL loves all these "interpreted" rules like holding and hits on dfenseless receivers. They can bust a flag out whenever they need to or ignore a penalty when they need to help a team.

Just no on so many levels. Have you ever study a team on films? The reason they get figured out all of a sudden is because they fall into patterns. The level in which they're documented is beyond most people's understanding. A decade ago (actually 14 years ago) we use to get percentages of plays called on down and distance by quarter, hash, personnel grouping, and formation. In the actual game we were 70% of the time, that's not a guess, that's an actual number we charted on how correct we were on the plays. That's when I was in college and with 14 years of advancement I can imagine that if a coach isn't constantly evolving how they can go from mind blowing good to bullshyt because as soon as ANYONE gets film especially in the NFL you're done.

I know several coordinators. I can assure you that they're not in on anything. There's a lot of retreads because cronyism is a thing. It's not a grand conspiracy. It's like everything else in this world. If you know people you'll get a job and everyone knows everyone. The problem is most fans think they know more about the sport than they actually do. Most fans don't even know the actual rules let alone how to properly scheme for opponents. ESPN got everyone thinking they know Tampa 2 off top. It's a lot more complicated in practice than the MLB running down the middle of the field.
