do you guys want A.I. (artificial intelligence) to replace the refs?

the game would suck if calls were made every damn play
But that's the point that is being made. Refs are forced to make a conscious decision when to call penalties and when not to call them, and it's clear that there is a lot more than time and convenience that plays into those decisions.

The patriots are supposed to win. It isn't a script so the other team CAN still beat them but it is damn sure not going to be because of an improper call.

Yeah that was clear PI and far less contact (contact initiated by Cooks) was called DPI and led to the leading score by the Pats. nikkas complaining about the Jags not winning it themselves won’t acknowledge how one side can play looser if they know they’ll get a bailout eventually.

Edit: and even after the Jags got fukked up offensively on that last drive, they still had a chance. I think it was like 3rd and 9 they had the run clamped, 1 TO, like 1:20 left and Pats hold to let Lewis get free. You’re literally deciding the game via bad ref ball, there’s no feasible way to let that slide imo.
Then while having refs bail them out....that gives them time to make more in game adjustments.

Without those PI calls, Brady at home watching the Super Bowl and this is coming from a Brady fan. Jags had the Pats resorting to gadget plays to get yardage :wow:

The bs started on that last drive of the half by the pats. I mean the pats are the team that they made up “tuck rule” so they can win super bowl after 9/11 so not surprised by this

Tuck rule was already in place. They called it against the Pats the year before it happened against the Raiders
Jets vs. Patriots (2001)Edit
The tuck rule was called in Week 2 of an NFL regular season matchup on September 23, 2001, between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets.[2] With 1:01 left in the second quarter, Patriots defensive end Anthony Pleasant apparently forced Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde to fumble the ball, with Patriots defensive end Richard Seymour making a recovery.[3] The call was overturned upon review and ruled an incomplete pass, with the tuck rule cited. The Jets tied the game with a field goal on that drive before going on to win 10-3.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick referred to this game after the subsequent Tuck Rule Game, telling ESPN, "I knew what the ruling should have been because we had dealt with that play a little bit earlier in the year on the other side of it."[4]

People who hate the Pats will believe anything:mjlol:

It's like those Trump supporters who believed Hillary was running a child trafficking ring in a pizza store:russ:

Yeah people shyt on the Jags D for getting gouged by the incredible levels of Pittsburgh talent but they gave up one TD from pure ref ball and another (slightly less red ball) that was Edelman doing ridiculous things and including the gadget plays. They clamped the fukk out the pats considering

Exactly this

People got that hindsight 20/20. Now the pats won they feel like the jags wasn't nothing and pats were going to win all along

That emotion from bill and Patricia was real. Them dudes was flat out worried about the jags. Even brady tone changed after the win. When you ever see the pats rolling out trick plays at home?

That's the shyt that hurts the most. They couldn't move it on us. Myles got up with the ball and ran 5 yards before the refs blew the whistle.

I still feel like we deserved to lose tho. Bortles couldn't get it done
