I either said it or meant to say this when they first announced JT was closing in on a deal to do the halftime show, that they'd bring Janet out as an attempt at good PR for the league. I really hope she doesn't do it. fukk helping these crumb billionaires, help keep the collective foot on their necks. At the very least hopefully the NFLPA can squeeze guaranteed contracts out of this debacle/ratings drop.
She's a legend, she's FARRRR beyond dependence on being "popping at the moment." She's a global pop culture institution, which means she's always relevant and always a ratings draw.
Not to mention she was at the center of by far the biggest story in the history of the Super Bowl halftime show, and shouldered 100% of the blame when it clearly should've fallen on JT just as much if not more (the shyt was clearly staged and they were both in on it along with their handlers). Which is why she hopefully won't do it and give this shyt show of a league and the piece of shyt owners a good PR story. Or she should agree to do it and go out there on some militant shyt and just fukking kneel with a fist in the air and refuse to sing. Since that will never happen though, hopefully she just declines.
