First weekend of College Football usually has few good matchups,College Football isnt that untouchable . Games were blowouts. Super Bowl champs open on Thurs guaranteed numbers. Saturday game would have to be a Cowboys-Eagles type matchups. Sunday is Sunday .

College football is in the process of ruining itself so Goodell just sees blood in the water.

My only thing is that if it moves to an 18 week schedule, teams need two bye weeks and they need to increase roster counts. Right now the roster is 53,game day active is 46. Dunno what it should be increased to but it needs to go up.

The NFL/AFC title games both had 50+mil viewers

The CFB national title game had 20mil

Only CFB teams that draw anywhere close to NFL are states with no NFL teams .
