:russ: Ravens vs Chiefs will outdraw that,Eagles vs Packers as well. College Football Week 2 only has 2 games where both teams are ranked.

It doesn't matter out-drawing. Of course the NFL will. Ppl will watch the 0-16 Browns vs 0-16 Falcons more than a prominently ranked college game. But ratings has shyt all to do with the quality & excitement of the game you're watching

They really wouldn't need to. The ratings and fans would speak for themselves. If the NFL thinks they gonna get people in the south to not watch UGA, UF, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, etc....on opening weekend they are sorely mistaken.
That was last weekend...

This is too far.

I’m against this, but if the NFL can do it, they will. However all of this feels like overexposure, and I can see the NFL becoming similar to the NBA.

The NFL eventually wants games on everyday, plus all the holidays, this may(hopefully) lead to less people taking the NFL seriously since it’s no sparse like it currently is.

Ravens vs chiefs and packers vs eagles will have more quality and excitement than any college game upcoming.

Breh, CFB is always some landslide games. Lets not play dumb here acting like CFB has good quality and exciting games whens its all mostly blowouts :comeon:

Yeah, Alabama vs Taco State is a blowout. But we're obviously not talking about those type of match-ups.

More dumb? How about "dumber"

And you're comparing week 1 in college football which is, for the past 100 years, the week where teams play cupcake schools to account for there not being a pre-season.
