Goff moved in the pocket like a 10 year vet. There were a handful of sacks he avoided just because of his pocket presence. He recognized the saftey positions and was changing the plays at the line to take deep shots to Watkins. He wasn’t staring down WRs, I actually saw him going through progressions. It’s not always about TDs and fantasy football stats, there are other things involved. Goff played a great game.
Less than a year ago people were calling him a bust and will be out of the league soon. So to see this much progress is very impressive.
