Yep... Nice & Smooth were one of those groups where something just works and you can't even figure out why it works. You got one dude who's just super-hyped and has an old school flow (complete with the DMC echo effect), and then one that's laidback and a lil' more lyrical, but also sings sometimes. And together, they managed to make a gang of dope-ass songs, and hits...

How To Flow is my favorite... either that or Funky For You. And of course, DWYCK is just a classic for all times.

I and a group of people were wyling out to "Hip Hop Junkies" at a lounge last night.

By the way, has anyone heard the original version of "Sometimes I rhyme slow?" that came on vinyl? Same loop, same rhymes. The only difference: the drums. The drums on the original are TRASH. so therefore, the whole song sucks.

the version that's popular is the 'remixed' version of sorts. That's the textbook example of how HUGELY important drums are in hip hop
