That probably won't happen anytime soon. Maybe $250. The 3ds xl is $200. They're not gonna price both at the same price point.
I think you can get a refurbished one for $200 though. It's well worth the $300 in my opinion though.

The biggest problem was and will continue to be the price of the system. I understand the tablet controller drove the cost up, but that was idiotic. The Wii U isn't much more powerful than a PS3 or 360, which are decade old machines. You can buy a new PS3 or 360 for between $200-250. A new Wii U is gonna be between $250-300, while getting a much more powerful system like a PS4 or XBox One can be had for $350-400.
It's just simple math. Yeah, it might have quite a few great games, but it's a secondary system since there's basically no third party support and vastly inferior technology wise. If it cost $150-200 to buy, I guarantee it would sell a lot more. Hell, I'd buy one at that price, but as it stands, it's not worth it to me and clearly most people feel the same way.
Maybe they'll finally drop it to $200...that's the only way I'd buy one
The #1 problem is that Sony priced the PS4 at 399
It blindsided Nintendo and Microsoft
Nintendo.com always has deals on Refurbed Wii Us. I bought my son his for christmas for 205 with Nintendo Land. It's a brand new Wii U basically.

Good look. I'll keep watching that link to see when they have them back in stock

and it's the 32GB version (largest one). Can't beat it.
Did that and the target buy 2 get one free deal in November and he ate.
Got
Nintendoland (came with it)
Sonic Boom
Super Smash Bros (he already had it on the 3DS and you can actually cross play on the 3DS and Wii u together at the same time with it)
SMB 3D World
Mariot Kart 8
It's cool no doubt.
my son is currently grounded from playing his shyt, so I might cop Bayonetta for it and troll him and play it knowing he can't.![]()
One can argue that the Wii U has a better lineup than the PS4 and XBONE right now![]()
@BasedPrime
You can neg all you want, but the fact that the Larry is moving 500 units a week (yes nikka, 500 units!!!!) is horrific.
It's already been out a year and is at almost 50k. It's moving 500 units a week there. After 7 more years that is only (500*52*7) 182k in units. Add that to the other 50K and that is less than 250k after 8 years.
Simple math breh....don't kill the messenger......
edit: its 500, not 300![]()
