The Oak-Tyrone Hill beef was over a dice game?!

Toronto's Charles Oakley and Philadelphia's Tyrone Hill were both kicked out of a 2000 preseason game when Oakley slapped Hill in the mouth during warmups.

It turns out Hill owed Oakley $54,000 from a dice game and was slow to pay up. Eric Snow explained: “Every time we play each other, Oakley says something about Hill. He’ll say ‘Where’s Hill at?’”

Later that same season, Oakley was suspended again after throwing a basketball at Hill face during a shootaround. Hill eventually settled up, but because of his "coward move," Oakley insisted that he pay double.

“A gentleman pays his debt within a week or two,” Oakley said. Because payment was deliquent, Oakley charged him double, saying, “Everything in life is double. If he didn’t pay me $108,000, he didn’t pay me.”

Does anyone have that footage of Oak staring at Hill while he was shooting free throws? Hill was so shook he missed them both, including an airball.

Also, Oak was the one who picked up Jayson Williams at the gate when he was released from prison last year. Not his family... but Oak!
