Nothing stopping him from signing executive orders. Congress & the Senate have been basically useless for his entire term. Politics, like football is all about field position. Dems will make major gains next presidential election, then lose them in the midterms. Wash, rinse, repeat. Nothing to see here.

In a flash.. it seems like the Democratic party accepting overwhelming victory in 2008 as satisfaction while leaving Obama and the middle class out to dry killed his legacy. He had two years of a presidency, spent 4 years reducing himself to red vs blue bickering and will spend these final two as a lame duck.
I will always appreciate Obama for exposing the democratic party to me. Instead of capitalizing on 2008 and running a populist campaign/get out the vote for 2010-2014 they sat back and let Obama take all the punches while they saw their corporate donors/friends(basically them themselves, politicians were part of that 1% getting all the gains 2009- present too) pockets get lined.
So we basically have the repeal of Obamacare on the table in the immediate future going forward and not much else. I expect a more hawkish Obama as he seeks to assert the rest of his presidential power somehow.

i don't know shyt about politics, and i really don't give a fukk. but 2008 was a big moment for me as it was the first time i cared to register and vote. i was with obama from jump, but id be lying if i said that his term was a success. idk, he had so much momentum, but what did that do? i honestly don't know, but what i do know is that this country is filled with idiots that are easily swayed by media agenda, and that is what i find most sickening. its like hey, lets wait til one side fukks up and we get can blow it out of proportion because these stupid ass people will eat it up. and the republicans are fukking masterful at that shyt. when they go - they go hard. dem attacks are so half-assed, sometimes they even apologize

Unless they use a diff recipe & meat down here, y'all Cali nikkas don't know squat about good hamburgers.
