i have the highest respect for even the 12th man on the bench. Thats why i cringe everytime :skip: & :sas1: call players "scrubs". Even the players who get no playing time are some of the most elite athletes on the planet. Making it to the pros is a hell of a feat. Imagine how good you have to be to get into the Hall Of Fame:bryan:

If you are over 6' and dedicated you chances dramatically improve.

There isn't much skill involved in making the NFL compared to the NBA or MLS. NFL is basically tall men abusing horse steroids.
Hard work is the most important part of the game to me. The players who don't have a good diet and fall out of shape are the ones who only last a few seasons.

Wasn't there a recent thread on some Australian dude who started playing Madden on Playstation, thought American football looked fun from playing it, then came to the US and tried out for the NFL, and made it a year later? :mjlol:
Just ignore the fact he is one of the best rugby players in the world tho

The odds of making it in the NBA are a lot higher based on your height. If your a 6'4 8th grader your odds are much better. If your normal height and your parents top off at 6 feet you better hit those books.
