i have the highest respect for even the 12th man on the bench. Thats why i cringe everytime :skip: & :sas1: call players "scrubs". Even the players who get no playing time are some of the most elite athletes on the planet. Making it to the pros is a hell of a feat. Imagine how good you have to be to get into the Hall Of Fame:bryan:

I'd say fukk that and go for it anyway. Who's to say you couldn't make it into that percentage? I'm not saying you're guaranteed to make it in, far from it, but I'd rather try and fail rather than never having the courage to entertain it in the first place. Every single person who succeeded most likely had people in their ear telling them "You know how risky this is, right?" and many of those people never had their best interests at heart. It's only until you're a winner that they're glad that you did it and never before, so I completely understand why famous athletes, musicians and celebrities in general can become jaded.

College is nothing though. And nowadays even making it for 1 season in the NFL is great marketing for yourself and you can eat for life off that

Naw. Some of these nikkas who made it to the NFL and only lasted 2-3 years are working at UPS, now.
I'm saying in modern times they don't have too. They have many options I'd be willing to bet. To make at least 6figures.

You can become a popular personal trainer off the strength of being in the NFL. Podcasts, analysts, etc. there's plenty of options nowadays that shots just off the top of my head

any time i ball with some dudes who are just dope as fukk, im like :wow: these dudes in the nba would wipe the fukkin floor with em :dead:

like i cant imagine how good those dudes are

Effectively superhuman.

I saw Brandon Jennings play and dude hit about 10 shots from 30 feet out...in a row. Picking pockets if you even thought about bringing the ball across your waist.

Dude was doing 360 dunks and behind the back dunks like it was absolutely nothing yet this nikka looks like barely average in the NBA.

I saw Durant poster a cat, in two steps, even though he had picked up the dribble behind the 3P line.

And they're strong and balanced...even skinny guys like Jamal Crawford can straight muscle through dudes when they try to plant their feet and make them bounce back.

It's crazy.
