I think the original plot for Scream 3 had Stu in prison and forming a cult from the inside to kill Sidney and company. They nixed that idea when Columbine happened, but ever since that bit came out, this theory has blown up over the last two decades. I wish they'd just confirm whether Stu is dead or not so fans will shut up about it.

I dunno why people keep hanging onto that one, lol. At least with Kirby, her surviving the attack in 4 was still a possibility since we could actually hear her breathing off-screen and Wes left it open before his passing. Not the case with Stu.
