The ball still isn't allowed to touch the ground outside the court. The only time that the players go outside the court is for some ridiculous volley. Watching these volleyball matches and 95% of the shots are spikes so there is no point of excluding outside of the court when it doesn't really hamper the match like you are saying it is.

What including the outside of the court does in my opinion actually watching volleyball these past two days is allow for exciting volleys and dives that can go back and forth across the net.

games would never end. They would go on for hours and hours. It would be the same with tennis.

Players arent aiming to hit the ball out now. Spikes would be hit far and over. If you allow the whole court to be in play games would go on forever, let alone sets and matches. Volleyball is an exciting sport and doesnt need to go on any longer. It would also take away from the skill of killing a ball while having to keep it in play. Its like allowing a strike zone in baseball be 10 feet wide.

I think its stupid, but you all are entitled to your opinions

Doubt any other country would be this good this quick. Except the USA of course, they could pick some dudes up on the corner and they'd win the gold.
