Well, 46 golds is the most the US has ever won in a non-boycotted Olympics since 1904.
The USSR won 55 golds in 1988 though (their last Olympics, a year before the Berlin wall fell)

BBC has shown an epic montage of the GB medal winnes and is now showing an epic montage of all the foreign big moments.

BBC montages
All this and I have people on my timeline wanting the Olympics off and the football season back on :what: They will have football on all their lives for 10 out of 12 months in the year. Olympics is once every 4 years and probably never in London again in their lifetime.

Nah i'm back in football mode now.

But it's enjoyable to reminisce on what was the greatest olympic games of all time.

Plus the closing ceremony and all that.

I want the Olympics to keep going, couldn't care less about the football season at the moment. Not in the mood at all.

Watching all these athletes and different sports > watching the Premier League (even though my team aint in that league, it's basically all thats on tv)

Didn't even bother with the Community Shield earlier.

This Closing Ceremony best be good, Danny Boyle aint running it though :leon:
