100m/200m have the longest celebrations for the events that take least time, gtfo attention whores

They are amongst the most prestigious medals in the entire Olympics.

Also, you could make the argument that the brevity of these events warrants a long celebration, not prohibits them. These dudes only have a small amount of time to shine, they train 4 years for 10 and 20 second events. Can they not get 10 minutes of praise?

Yup I think qualifying for the 400 took place same day as 100m finals

He'd be better training for long jump ala Carl Lewis or running in the 4x400 relay could skip earlier rounds and just do finals
