Edwin Moses was on UK TV earlier today and made a great point about using 400 meter hurdlers in the 400 meters. They tire very early because they tend to run upright instead of forward like 400 meter runners do.

Angelo Taylor is a great 400 meter hurdler, but he looked like he got gassed on the final 100 meters after holding dude off the first 300 meters.


Leshawn Merritt would have ran the final leg but he got injured in the opening round of the 400 meters.

both merrit and warriner were supposed to be running the last leg both got injured, taylor at 32 already ran 3 400m hurdle races early in the week, his split was still fast, and the us still ran a season best,
