Is Harrison really athletic?...cause his running leap was just an inch & a half better...

I can't imagine that being explosive, and I put that with being athletic...and he certainly doesn't play athletic...

I don't eem know..

Doesnt always translate on the court..Miles Plumlee tested close to an athletic freak which he clearly isnt

Barnes has trouble beating college defenders off the dribble

Some of these numbers in the combines seem off

true but he did say he lost weight to gain explosiveness, I guess that could be part of it

You'd be surprised at combine numbers historically. What it lets you know is that some players don't utilize natural strengths, but they have them. Love doesn't have anywhere close to Blake Griffin's explosiveness, but they tested similarly at the combine. Weird stuff like that.

Do they round up or round down for the prospects. Like Drummond is 6'11.75 is he 7'0 for measurment?

Measurements on team website's are kind of an inexact science, but when in doubt, they will always round up. Listing Drummond at 7 ft is a perfect example of that, when he is actually just under 6'10 w/o shoes. There are more egregious mis-measurements, particularly at the college and high school levels. Once the guys get officially listed at the Draft Combine, the cat jumps out of the bag.

HB had great numbers..But I still can't be too impressed because he doesn't play like a guy with a 40 inch vert..But I think this locked him in as a top 5 pick.

Well, Blake did the combine with a sore knee if I remember correctly, and he's gone on record saying he's become more explosive because of all the rehab work he did. That said, Love is one of the 250lbs+ 35" vert club, which is a small group of dudes.

Jordan Farmar had a 42" vert at the combine back in the day, probably the biggest "WTF" moment.

few personal tidbits..

-Terrence Ross seems very intriguing and personally I feel like he should be the first guard taken after Beal...well tbh right now I like him more than Beal, but Im aware of the odds...if you have not seen it check out his slam workout video, im sur emost of you have though...he has a nice work ethic, he's serious about his shut, jis shot is automatic, and he's athletic...I like him alot

-Meyers Leonard should be taken above Zeller and Henson at this point imo...for one, he's alot more athletic than both...secondly, he is still raw so he does have a high ceiling, you might not seem him peak till 4-5 years down the line, and that is a good thing considering how good he is now....seems like he could be a huge defensive presence also, I believe he is the tallest player in the draft?...he's a legit 7 footer

-I like what Jeremy Lamb brings to the table as a player and athlete, but dude's mental is a straight turnoff...does seems like he is driven or cares, thats a red flag...now, if he does happen to slip and end up with a decent team with a decent coach, that might be a good look for him..I just dont know how productive he can be surrounded by alot of young/immature players...so, the further he falls the better for his career...

mini update: Royce White has apparently killed every interview and workout. He did it again today at the Wolves' workout. I have a feeling that the team that takes him won't really need him, but will be tough to pass up.

Austin Rivers' agent more than likely won't work out for any team below 13 (Phoenix)

Minnesota's ideal pick at No. 18

Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com, tweeting about the NBA draft combine in Chicago over the weekend, wrote that the Timberwolves' dream scenario would be Washington's athletic swingman Terrence Ross falling to them at No. 18.

We have to say, this makes a ton of sense and one would be hard-pressed to find a better fit.

Ross' main weakness is his handle, but when able to run the floor on the wing or spot up from mid-range or 3-point territory, he becomes a dynamic player. His length, athleticism and skillset as an acrobatic jump shooter would seem like the perfect complement to Ricky Rubio in Minnesota's backcourt, adding a potential big-time scorer and instantly upgrading both sides of the ball.

The only problem is that Ross' draft stock is at an all-time high, and the T-Wolves may have to trade up to get him if they want him.
