Klay plays 2 guard if thats what your saying. Steph passes too damn good to be a 2 guard. He'd get destroyed guarding Reke and Kevin Martin along with the Kobe's and Wade's.

You know damn well what I was saying :shaq:

Klay's probably better off at SG, but the reason why guards are even being considered is because Klay could shift over to SF and also because they're simply not impressed with any of the 3's that early in the draft. Now with Portland ready to shyt the bed, y'all can luck out with Drummond or even MKG if someone trades with Sacramento which looks very possible.

You better be rooting hard for Portland to take Lillard or Waiters, especially Waiters.

Im not worried about us taking a point guard or 2 guard. For this reason alone, Bob Myers said he's bringing back Rush and will match any offer. He also said if Roy comes back he'll be the 1st to try to sign him being thats his former client he could probably pull it off. Add that along with us being the worst rebounding team in the league and the fact that Charles Jenkins is probably more productive than Lillard and Waiters it would make zero sense to do it when you have a giant like Meyers Leonard out there and our backup center is Andris Biedrins. Ohh and we have Dorell and RJ so how could we or why would we start Klay at the 3 when he can't defend 3's? You don't get smaller on purpose when you can get bigger.

Well that went out the window today didn't it?

Which is why I haven't really linked guards to the Warriors, but backup 4/5's, like Zeller.

fukk it, what I'll do instead is I'll drop my final mock on Thursday like I expect to do. But what I'll do Wednesday instead of a regular mock is attempt a mock with trades I can see happening to show y'all how the draft can be altered, and in this way, probably figure out where the players can fit best. For example, If I did one now I'd probably have Sacramento picking at 14 and 16. Just for fun, mostly because there's no chance this order stays the same. Lots of movement expected.

Klay ain't a small forward tho. Lacob admitted the small backcourt didn't work so why would he do it all over again and have Steph defending nikkas like D-Wade and Kobe? Everybody seems to forget about Klay having a damn good season and being the best 2 guard of the 2011 draft.

oops, I forgot about Stephs defense. His ankles can hold up against these two guards.....but then again could he even guard the point?

I think Klay played a little small forward last season though. Just think of the 3point/shooting fire power they'd have on top of a good penetrator/distributor in Lillard. Thats enough to forget about defense.

How is that when they can't even present a offer until july 1st?

because it's not like Roy has the deal on his doorstep. Minny's just the first squad to reportedly make their shyt public in terms of years (not money)

Chad Ford mock 9.1. Surprisingly I must say Ford hasn't sucked this season as much as other seasons because I agree with much of it.

Rush is all the shooting we need off the bench along with Jenkins. We need rebounding more than another guard.

Double Dribbles

• According to multiple sources, Beal is most likely to go third to the Wizards if the draft order stays as is. If the Bobcats take him at No. 2, you can probably assume there is some sort of deal in the works, said one source.

• Who do the Bobcats take at two if not Beal? One source familiar with their thinking says they’re leaning toward Kansas power forward Thomas Robinson. If that’s the case, Kentucky small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist could drop all the way to No. 5. But the Bobcats could also take him at No. 2, a source said.

• Another scenario has the Bobcats taking North Carolina forward Harrison Barnes (seemingly a real possibility), with Beal going to the Wizards and the Cavs choosing between Kidd-Gilchrist and Robinson. The Cavs have two power forwards already in Anderson Varejao and Tristan Thompson, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’d pass on Robinson. Most scouts feel as if he’ll be the second-best player to come out of this draft in the long run.

• The Lakers are exploring all kinds of potential deals, having floated every name on the roster this side of Kobe Bryant. They are said to be open to trading Metta World Peace for a late first-rounder, with their eyes on Baylor forward Quincy Miller and Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague.

• The Rockets’ talks with the Kings for the No. 5 pick seem to be serious. No word, exactly, on what the Rockets would offer, but odds are, it somehow involves big man Luis Scola.

• Also, the Raptors are suddenly said to be very open to dealing their No. 8 pick. One rumor has them trading it to the Rockets for point guard Kyle Lowry. Almost every mock draft has the Raptors selecting Syracuse guard Dion Waiters at No. 8, but that “could be a smokescreen,” said a source.

• If Waiters isn’t selected by the Raptors, there’s a chance he could fall out of the lottery (top 14 picks) altogether.

• Washington guard Terrence Ross and Kentucky forward Terrence Jones are both climbing the draft charts after recent workouts, according to sources. The 76ers are said to be particularly enamored with Jones. “Depends on who else is there, of course,” said one person familiar with their thinking.

• Sixers president Rod Thorn said the team isn’t likely to draft strictly for need. “Essentially, you draft for talent and you trade for need,” Thorn told Phillyburbs.com.

• Back to the Lakers. If the Cavs are able to move up and nab Beal at No. 2, there’s talk the Lakers would be willing to make life easy for the Wizards and help them move out of the third spot. It would likely take power forward Pau Gasol. Far-fetched for now, but don’t be surprised if it’s something that’s explored in the right situation.

• Wizards big man Andray Blatche could also be part of that, or another, trade.

• As for front-office talk, word is Cavs assistant GM David Griffin has removed himself from consideration for the Clippers GM job. Former Nets GM Kiki Vandeweghe is said to be the frontrunner.

• Expect new Hawks GM Danny Ferry to try to package a player and the No. 23 pick to move up, sources have indictaed.

• Like the Lakers, it appears the Nets and Knicks are looking to move into the late first round. Also, the Bobcats may try to get another pick in the 20s, even if they make the aforementioned trade with the Cavs. The Heat (No. 27) and Warriors (No. 30) are two teams with late picks supposedly open to trading out of the first round.

• The Grizzlies (No. 25) are also open to trading out of the first round.

-Sam Amico

Some of this you can tell is pure shyt, but some other stuff sounds interesting.

The Wizards aren't even fielding calls for the 3rd pick. Amico's the only one who thinks the Wizards are really trying to do anything but add a SG.

I don't wanna be too harsh on Waiters because in reality, he's not bad. Statistically he's actually supposed to turn out to be really fukkin good, but teaching a Syracuse player how to play at the pro level is like teaching a paraplegic how to Crip walk. You're back at square one. I find him to be overrated and he's damn sure not Deron Williams like he thinks he is, but off the bench at best he can be top 3 at that kind of role.
