so evidently Dion Waiters is being hyped as a D Wade type scorer a guy who can create for himself and score at will. Do you think he can leap past Beal/Lame/Rivers?

or is he this years Dominique Jones?

I think his floor is: Randy Foye and Ceiling is a type of Harden


Also this is the worst pg draft since 2007 the Conley/Acie Law/Brooks draft. do you guys think Marshall/Lillard/Teage/Wroten are better then that class.

Dion is gonna be ready off top.

skill wise...yes... but I don't think he'll ever be what he was supposed to be..because of the knee.

If you watched him last year, he looked so slow, sluggish and just creaky old man like movements. I hope he can get that fluidity back in his game because with his size, length and skill, he'd be a problem

As someone who watches all the UW games, Terrence Ross will be one of the best players that comes out of the draft. Great defense, rebounding, shooting and athleticism. Good Bball IQ and attitude. As already noted, his dribble is weak, but he does finish well at the hoop when he goes in. Whoever picks up Tony Wroten gets a lot of potential...

The Warriors are working on a trade with the Jazz to keep their first round pick regardless of what happens in the lottery, according to sources.

Golden State has a 72 percent change of keeping their pick as it is top-seven protected.

But the Warriors are interested in insuring that they keep the pick in case a team behind them jumps into the top-three.

The Warriors are prepared to give up a trade asset or two.

One source with knowledge of the discussions described the chances of a trade by Wednesday as "likely."

The Warriors can offer Utah a combination of future draft considerations, cash and/or a relaxation of the current restrictions on Utah's rights to the pick in question in either 2013 or 2014. At present, Golden State's 2013 pick is top-seven protected and its 2014 pick is top-six protected.

Spent $450 milly to buy the team, about to spend another 500 to build an arena, spent 2 milly on the rights for Jeremy Tyler, 7 mill on Kwame, spent another milly buying Atlanta's second round pick. Giving Utah a few mill for insurance aint shyt. We can't attract top free agents so we gotta stack up on picks and make smart trades. Minnesota should do the same since yall can't attract free agents neither.

You think a few mill to relax protections on a pick that can get Utah their PG of the future will cut it? Actually the most y'all can even spend is #3 mil, and you'd essentially be trying to buy your pick back.

and if you haven't noticed, Minnesota only has 3 guys on the team through free agency. Hell the biggest free agent in franchise history is our coach. That IS what they're doing.
