He doesn't but I don't think MKG is the 2nd pick until the combine is complete. They seem to be situated at PF/C i really think that they need a shooter like Barnes or to trade down and maybe get 2 lotto picks. Everything will change after the combine. For example Sullinger or Perry Jones or even Drummond can sky rocket or Barnes can fall ala Paul Pierce.

Robinson would be consensus number 2 if he's 6'10 but if he's 6'7-8 he will fall

doubt his 6'10 if his is then thats a different story

we do need shooters but beal is 6'3 if lucky

wizards still need a number one or number 2 option. i'll take MKG could be a number 2. we have tons of cap and can spend that on shooters

if we pick around 4 or 5 then i say fukk it shock the world and take lamb

Robinson supposedly was 6"10 @ Amare Skills academey last year, but he looked shorter than the Morris twins and when he was guarded by Anthony Davis.

He's not 6'10..He's really around 6'8. At the Amare camp the players are always measured out to be taller than what they are. But with that said..I'd be surprised to see him fall to 5 right now as it stands.

Nah, what they do is round up or down.

Marcus Morris and Derrick Williams were 6"9 @ Amare's camp and 6"8 3/4th at the NBA combine, Kanter was 6"11 @ Amares and 6"11 1/4th @ NBA.

He could be 6"9 and change in sneakers, but since he looked shorter than the Morris brothers, he'll probably be 6"8 like you said.

Rivers can score 20 plus a game if he gets in the right system, could be an All-Star

:upsetfavre: Does Washington really need another cat with questionable work ethic/energy? Barnes, Drummond, Lamb are all bad fits for a team still trying to establish its identity. MKG is ideal, but if the lottery doesnt favor us, it scares me what Grunfeld will do with his track record of high potential/low bball iq picks

The right system would have to tolerate his ineffectiveness. He's the kind of guy that looks like it would take him 19 shots to score 20 points.

Looking at your team, he could fit in long term to be honest, depends on whether or not he can develop a corner 3. The handle is NBA ready, and if he's legitimately 6"4 he could be a problem in the future.

Your team is going to need someone to break down a defense in late game situations in the future, as good as Rubio is, he's not going to be the go to guy and Love isn't really a creator.

It's kinda why I peg him to go there for now. That, and I already know the Wolves are interested in bringing him in for workouts already. There are things I like about Rivers. He has good handles. He can create. His three point shot really isn't that bad, and he does have the ability to get to the line (although his FT shot MUST be better, 77% or better). The best part about him is that he's a douche bag that looks like he'd slit your throat to win a game, and outside of some guys on this roster, they got some straight up pussies. If nothing else, Austin would probably snuff Wes Johnson if he caught him cheesing down 10.

There's a big difference between this

But if they can fill that spot with a free agent or through trade, then there's no need. They gotta get an impact starter somewhere (and it damn sure better not be Pau Gasol). I can't see Adelman or Love being happy with this same team coming back with more young guys as opposed to guys that can put them over the top.

Hire Chip Engelland, he'd have Wes looking like Chuck Persons :smugdraper:

I think of the SGs available, he's probably the best bet for your team and long term I think he can turn into an impact player, if of course he's really 6"4.

Any word on if the Wolves will make a run at Eric Gordon?

He might be taller, although wingspan is probably the big stat I wanna see. If his wingspan is 6'9'' or better, then that mean Rubio wouldn't have to guard SG's the way he did this year

Minny's options are open to almost anything. I know they love Batum above all. Even Pau Gasol is still an option (both Doogie and JerryZ both think Minny will inquire as to what his availability is) but only if everything doesn't pan out (personally, if the Wolves get Teodosic or Shved, odds that they get Gasol skyrocket unless LA wants the #18 pick to boot. After Love and Pek, they really don't have a 3rd big). Doogie's not sure on Mayo, and of course, Jamal Crawford is a fall back plan.

Last I read, Rivers had a 6"7 wingspan which isn't bad at all.

As for still being interested in Gasol :dwillhuh: That simply does not make sense, you're better off just getting someone like Speights to come off the bench.

Portland isn't letting Batum go, just can't see it happening but he'd be perfect at the 3 for you, and would allow you to draft Rivers without hesitation.

I think if you pair him with a pass first PG he'll be a problem
