What if Gilchrist is a bust? this safe picks dont always work out either..i know he tries hard but his physical ability isnt that great..

Adam Morrison went high so what..This is a weak draft after 1 its a bunch of ok but not great players..

Gilchrist doesnt do anything great besides play defense..hes a liability in the halfcourt on offnese..he shoots less then 20% on jumpers

Gilchrist was the best defender in the country last year. He is also an amazing REBOUNDING forward. He had 19 rebounds against Louisville and 11 rebounds against UNC.

He is UNSTOPPABLE in the open court converting over 80% of transition buckets and he is relentless when he attacks the rim. He's also great at offensive rebounding if he misses close at the rim and goes back up with it

Gilchrist also has the heart of a champion and completely unselfish, he hates losing and will do whatever it takes to win. He is the kind of guy that changes a teams entire culture.

Also, if you need clutch freethrows, give it to him and he'll knock them both down.

U didnt even read my post. In fesponse o you unbasedly wuestioning mkg s physical talent I told you that ypu.dont get top 5 loiks at SF with elementary skills without exceptional physical tools. You prove my point with Adam Morrison who was drafted high despite his lack of athletcism because of exceptoonal skills. At the NBA level however hos wrak body injurirs and unathletocism have held him.back.


And mkg is not an offensive liability. An offensive liability is someone like teggie Evans or Ryan hollins who literally cannot do even sple thongs even close to the basket wirhout risking turnover. Mkg is not refined but he is an asset in thst hr will get points and off boards even if e cant consistently hit a jumper or handle the ball exceptionallu

Talking to sports fans is so ridiculous sometimes, you cannot say with certainty he wont be a scorer because he is a great slasher and its always possible to improve your jumper.

He also can take people down into the post because he is so strong.

Especially with MKG's incredible work ethic.
