With Thomas Robinson having measured in at 6 foot 9 in shoes with a really long wingspan, I can't see how the Bobcats could pass on him. Robinson would give them the best combination of size, scoring, and rebounding. I love Michael Kidd-Gilchrist but a team as awful as the Bobcats can't use the #2 overall pick on a glue guy. I think you will start seeing mock drafts with Robinson at #2.

Robinson would also make some sense at #3 for the Wizards. That would be a pretty good front line with Nene and Robinson. If not, I think Washington would probably lean towards Bradley Beal over Kidd Gilchrist. With John Wall's struggles to shoot the ball, Beal would probably be a better fit out of those two players.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Kidd-Gilchrist slide to #4 and the Cavaliers.

I saw somewhere on Twitter that the Cavs and Blazers are considering swapping their pairs of first round picks. Don't buy it, but does that mean that Drummond won't go 2, but won't fall to Portland?

If this deal happens, it's to guarantee Drummond at 2. Not a bad idea. The Cavs would then have to hope Barnes falls to 6, but that's a 50/50 coin flip. Sacramento could easily fukk them over and take Barnes instead of Thomas Robinson

One NBA assistant coach said he was surprised Austin Rivers didn’t work out at the NBA's predraft combine here Thursday. The East scout expects Rivers to be selected in the Nos. 10-20 range, but an NBA source told Yahoo! Sports that Rivers has a promise late in the draft lottery. The Portland Trail Blazers, Toronto Raptors, Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards and New Orleans Hornets plan to work out Rivers.
Portland or Toronto?

A Bobcats beat writer said that Austin Rivers aced his interview with Toronto and that he wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there.

Why do so many mocks have Sullinger not being a top 8 pick?

if simply factoring in need, Sullinger plays a loaded position in the NBA and one where he's not the top prospect. Looks like Davis and Robinson have a clear advantage.

Cleveland doesn't need one. Portland doesn't need one. Golden State doesn't really need one. A couple of other teams early in the draft need a PF but they'll look into Davis and Robinson. Other teams could use a PF, but Sullinger might not fit well with their C's. Sullinger's just a victim of the depth of the draft.

The combine helped Sullinger in that he measured out at a decent size for a PF. He just needs better conditioning.
