Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
how does Drummond have a higher ceiling than Davis? serious question because I feel at their peaks, Davis would be better offensively and defensively (well not on-ball d, but def weakside)...

Same way Dwight has a higher ceiling than Bosh, when you're that physically overwhelming you have a ridiculously high ceiling. Davis probably has a more realistic shot of reaching his, but Drummond's is higher because he has the tools to be physically dominant. You can name all the big men busts, none of them had Drummond's weight and athleticism in the same package, not Kwame, Thabeet, Darko or Olowakandi.

People are quick to tear him a part, but there hasn't been a center prospect that big and that agile since Shaq.

Oh, I know he has huge potential since he is a ridiculous athlete, but he has some huge huge holes in his game, I really doubt he reaches to the utmost of his potential.. What do you think Davis's limit is compared to Drummond? I mean, I think Davis's ceiling is KG

the lack of "offensive" feel scares me most about drummond.. dude just looks totally lost. And his defensive rebounding/blocking out is :scusthov:

This year was really the first time Drummond had to play exclusively with his back to the basket, in HS he got away with floating out to the perimeter and handling the ball a lot.

He has huge holes, but he's a blank piece of paper right now, I've said before his development depends almost entirely on where he goes. A good organization that will push him to use his gifts could end up with a monster, but if he ends up in a place like Charlotte or Sac, he's pretty much done.

I don't see KG when I look at Davis, KG was more athletic than him and taller/longer. He's more Bosh than KG to me.

:yeshrug:

Anthony Davis is a freak athletically, he takes like 2 strides to go full court :pachaha: I remember one block in particular where he blocked a jumpshot and as it was going out of bounds somehow managed to recover and snag it to save the possession. AD is infinitely more athletic than bosh thats for sure

I wouldn't say Davis is a freak athlete, he's a good one, his best attributes are his agility/mobility.

And Bosh was a good athlete coming out of GT, after Amare he had the quickest first step of any PF in the league for a time. Dude used to dunk and blow by people all the time. Those knee injuries slowed him down, this is what he looked like as a rookie -

Why don't the Bobcats draft Beal, you have a championship caliber team that is willing to trade assets, and another playoff team that wants him. If you're the Bobcats, take him and then field offers, if you keep him apparently he has teams going crazy trying to get him.

I don't think they wanna be in a position to draft Beal and have the possibility of keeping him AND Gerald Henderson. Now I'd field calls for Henderson, but I don't think his value is that high right now because he's an RFA after next season and he can't shoot from distance.

According to Rick Bonnell (Charlotte Observer), Charlotte's asking for too much, so they'll probably just stay at #2.

These teams just have to keep it simple. If they want Thomas Robinson, do the deal with the Cavs, get an extra 2 picks and you still get your guy. Cho's a smart guy. Why overthink it?

Henderson is on a reasonable contract, having him wouldn't stop me from drafting a SG that every team and their momma wants (Outside of the Heat and Lakers). I'd just start them together, it's not like they have anything more to lose, Henderson has backup written all over him IMO.

That may be true, but I also don't know what Charlotte's opinion of Beal is. They might not be as high on Beal as other teams are. Now I'd parlay that into a trade that still gets me my guy (whoever that is), but Charlotte might be overplaying their hand. They want all their problems fixed with one single trade. To me, they need bodies. Houston's stockpiling a bunch of picks. Really, they're doing what a team like Charlotte would dream of doing. Stack up assets. Stack up prospects and get them going. They possess 2 of the 3 best picks to have right now (#2 and #31).

Didn't Carolinaking mention that if Charlotte traded the pick to Cleveland that Washington would trade 3 to somebody to block them from getting Thomas Robinson?
