I just don't understand the point of buying a old gen console when the new gen is already out.Like why not just save up some more money and just get the new gen.

If you wanna play old gen stuff than i guess that fie but why pay a retail price for it when you can go anywhere and get it used for half the price.

If someone walked up to me and gave me their xbox360 and PS3 I wouldn't even want it.

Well the ps3 and 360 have a good year plus of shelf life left and you also have to remember they both have decent backlogs and the games will be cheaper also.

But you're losing money in the long run. Why not just save and get the new gen because your probably gonna end up getting it anyway in the long run. The value of these consoles have severely depleted.

Why spend 200$ for something that will last you a year maybe when you can spend 400$ for something that will last you 8 years is all im saying

Well let me rephrase.

I have no problem with people buying old systems, but buying them retail is just....:why:

The 360 at $100 and the PS3 at $200 with 2 free games are great prices man.

What do you want? Dreamcast $50 firesale prices?

The PS3 is the one to get...get that with a PS+ subscription and you essentially never have to buy games and just wait for exclusives to rotate in and out.

i'd argue that this is the best time to pick up any current generation system if you haven't owned one. like if you only had a 360 you can go on Craigslist and cop a PS3 for like $100 or buy a new one for $150 on BF and go back and play all the games you missed. you can likely get an Xbox 360 for even less. all the best games are mostly dirt cheep.

there's no real reason to buy an Xbox One or Playstation 4 right now. you'll pay a very high premium to experience the most mediocre years of either console's life. you also get the lergest version of the console and the most faulty version. if you aren't a enthusiast like myself the best time to pay attention to either of these new systems is deeper into year 2 probably August 2015.

All this stuff you could do years ago and for the same price. Do you know how many people are selling their used systems right now? You could probably get a xbox 360 with a 20game collection for about 100$ if you actually looked.

If pricing was the main factor from holding you back for the past 8 years then that's cool i guess.

And I'm not sure what you mean by "there's no real reason to buy a next gen right now?" because by your logic there's no real reason to buy next gen until its got 1 year of shelf life left in it.

I have a list of about 16 items. Now I just have to figure out how to be at two places at once.

Can someone clarify Best Buy process, will all of their deals be available online? If so at one time will the deals go live?
