:obama2: @ The Warriors throwing away their depth and continuity for this dude.
The passive, slashing guy who can't hit free throws? :dead:
Who the fukk is bringing up Bieddrins, Jefferson, etc? I was talking about the players who actually contributed to their success last year. Clearing up all the space could of helped them sign multiple players. And Iggy is taking them to the next level? :heh: He was on a better Nuggets team with a more experienced coach and they lost to the team he just signed to. He can't shoot from the outside and is a horrible FT shooter. He doesn't even drive to basket as much as you would like him to. He's a glorified 6'8 PG.
What does a new season have to do with having the same guys back and building on what they did last year? :dahell:

Iggy is fukking overrated.

It's not ruining their continuity.

Jefferson and Biedrins don't mean shyt. So that leaves Jack and he was more or less a forced piece on the floor when Curry was out there, because they didn't have any other ball handlers. And although I was one of the few that praised Jack throughout the season, that shyt was NEVER gonna work, in regards to taking them to the next level. There was too much of a high risk through iso-plays and not enough of a high reward.

Iggy will transition into the team, perfectly. Secondary ball-handler and he's not gonna push Curry out of the 1 on the regular. And more importantly he'll be able to take it to the hole, with all the room that Klay and Curry leave. Plus he's that big-body perimeter defender they desperately need.

He's exactly what they've been missing.

:obama2: @ The Warriors throwing away their depth and continuity for this dude. They also stunt the growth of Harrison Barnes. Clearing all that weight was good and they would of been better off resigning Jack and going after Hickson to come off the bench.

Throwing away their continuity? :nikkawhat:

It's a whole new season, it's not like they're midway through the playoffs. Iggy's exactly what they needed. Having Curry and Jack out there was never gonna work in the long run.

It would be hilarious to go back through a bunch of these old threads to read people's comments on a lot of these signings and see who was more spot on with their predictions. I know I was wrong about the Iggy signing. I didn't think he'd fit with Klay and Barnes at the 2 and 3. Didn't think of him of the bench in a high minutes role which was perfect for him.
