I think the foul trouble last night may be a good thing in the long run, Jefferson showed he can give Duke some solid minutes off the bench, hope K sticks with him I think his impact could be major.
amile done showed he could play earlier this year when kelly went down and he contributed in ACC play, but for some reason K decided to cut his minutes and play hairston who offers little outside of a handful of boards and 5 fouls per game. K always has his scrappy, favorite player who is a benchwarmer at best yet plays major minutes and is the first player off the bench and hairston/thornton are this season's. I hope amile's play last night showed Mike that he absolutely has to play amile more cause for the last month and a half there's been alotta "amile is gone/amile is transferring" talk and i couldn't even blame him since he's had to endure hairston do nothing yet play major minutes.
let amile hit the weights hard this summer, play a combo of cook/sheed/hood/parker and amile and we are all set next year as long as murphy stays and marshall can be a garbage rebounder and decent post defender...we'll just run nikkas outta the gym all game long with that line-up, add in jones, murphy, semi and dawkins if he actually returns and we are daring teams to try and outscore us, add in our defense and it's over. kentucky will the only team that can fukk with us.
