Just learned Archie is putting his name in the draft. Can't say I'm surprised, we kinda have a log jam at the 2/SF. Willie is returning though. No word on poythress. Archie earned his right to go. Him, Nerlens and Willie played harder than anybody.

archie would start if he stayed another year. his draft stock will be higher this year than next year in a deeper draft.

Archie's stock ain't that high now.
draftexpress has him at 18..he hasn't hired an agent yet either. You think he could get drafted higher in a deeper draft next year? I don't see it. I'm afraid Poythress might be in the same position but Goodwin has a non-stop motor, he's just raw. Poythress' motor is pathetic right now.

Poythress isn't even a first rounder to me. I have Goodwin to the Clippers around 25 (haven't updated the order just yet)
they're just being drafted on potential.. Poythress is ahead of goodwin in the draftexpress mock. but I think a GM gotta be stupid to pick a SF/PF tweener who has NO (and I mean absolutely NO) ball handling abilities (or passing for that matter). His shot is okay but he's very passive. Takes plays off and doesn't defend to his full ability. Most impressive thing I've seen from Poythress is his rebounding.. He has the physical tools to be an absolute MONSTER, just go look at his game when he played Duke.

Him and McAdoo get downgraded from me for the same reason. What is it that makes them so appealing at the next level that I have to go draft them? I'm not seeing it out of either of them. They'll get swallowed up in the pros quickly.
Poythress is a GAWD compared to Wackadoo. You can at least see the potential of Poythress in that Duke game. Poythress just needs to develop a motor and aggressive mentality, he is insanely strong. I was never once impressed with McAdoo.. I never ever understood how he was a top rated player.
