so they couldnt have tied the game up with their last possession if a "jump ball" wasnt called a millisecond after dude touched the ground??

yes...it cost them the chance to win/ keep the game going..

they were LOSING already so it didn't necessarily change the outcome...it cost them a chance to tie, but you can't presume that it changed the outcome...WS giving up a 12 point lead lost them the game...now if WS was wining in that situation, and got a jumpball called against them, followed by a game winning shot by lville, then i would agree with you that the call changed the outcome.

Its a baskeball game, theres bad calls going against both teams. Shockers had a double digit lead and fukked it up:yeshrug:

this is the gist of it. Dont blow a double digit lead and you wont have this happen. :manny:

They got away with doing that last week against Ohio State and it almost cost them then. Louisville is the best team in college ball, so thats that.

I mean, yeah, that last jump ball was questionably quick...but it was legit.

AND LET'S NOT PRETEND LIKE WICHITA STATE DIDN'T CHOKE THE GAME AWAY.

We were down by double digits for 7-8 minutes into this second half. The lead seemed insurmountable.

Wichita was in the DOUBLE BONUS six minutes in!!!

Give Wichita State credit for almost shocking the world yet AGAIN...but give Louisville credit for coming out on top.

this...lville has been getting away with a ton of body bumping, reaching, 2 hands, etc with this press all season...it seems like "touch fouls" now b/c it's finally getting called.
they stopped calling those during Louisville's big run though.. allowed them to crank up the defense, thats what pitino's style is all about. it forces the refs to make a decision.
