I was hoping for McLemore, but I'll take Oladipo. Especially if can develop his game like D. Wade

I'm glad we didn't get McLemore. I think he's basically Tracy McGrady/Vince Carter part 2, a high volume scorer with no other redeeming qualities. That's not what this team really needs right now.

The more and more I see of Oladipo, the more and more I like this pick. Dude's work ethic seems to be on point too :wow:

That's funny, because I initially had Oladipo as like a Vince Carter/Jason Richardson type player. Mostly flash with the highlights, but that's about it. But like you said, the more & more I see of Oladipo, I think this business will work out for the better. He just needs to continue to work on his offensive game. I can't wait to see him locked against the likes of Wade, Bryant, etc.

One possible outcome to Clips/Raps trade talks: Bargnani to LA for Caron Butler ... with Clips saving Bledsoe for bigger deal or keeping him

From ESPN's article about top 10 players to watch in the summer league...

Maurice Harkless | SF | Orlando Magic
Harkless will be a key to Philadelphia's attempt at rebuilding … oops. New 76ers management must be shaking their heads at what could have been had Harkless not been traded away. Harkless has some competition on the wings with Victor Oladipo and Tobias Harris, but that is a good problem for Orlando to have. His athleticism and fluid game can shine in a bump-and-grind summer league setting, and since he finished the season strongly as a rookie, it's fair to expect him to be one of the better players this week. After all, he did make my second team all-rookie squad thanks to that great second half, though his competition was thin. Harkless needs to score efficiently to help stay in Orlando's rotation.

Tobias Harris | SF | Orlando Magic
Harris finally showed that he can be an excellent scorer, and the Magic are anxious to see if he can indeed be a primary one, beginning in Orlando on Sunday. He's played well in previous summer games, and considering the way he finished the season and the fact that he will be just 21 a few days after the league is over, Harris is one of the most important players to watch this week. He is a top breakout candidate for the 2013-14 season.

Doron Lamb | SG | Orlando Magic
Lamb is one of the many roster players who begin the fight for their careers this summer. A poor performance now is very bad news for this slinky and instinctive player from Kentucky. If he shows great range and an improved handle, he'll at the very least buy himself more serious looks in training camp. Remember, he was not a pick from this staff in Orlando but rather a throw in as part of a larger trade. Playing well here helps him not just make Orlando's team but another team as well if Orlando decides to let him go.

Also, Andrew Nicholson showing signs of improvement in the offseason :myman:

As the youthful Orlando Magic prepare for Summer League action, John Denton of the Orlando Sentinel brought some updates on the offseason training of some of their players.

"#Magic PF Andrew Nicholson ended Sum Lg practice today by making 8 straight 3-pointers. He's worked hard to add that to his game for next yr," Denton tweeted.

Nicholson, who was drafted 19th overall by the Magic last season, didn't even attempt a trey during his rookie run, but he did manage to average 7.8 PPG in just 16 MPG. Adding some range to his game could help him earn more minutes in Year 2.

Denton also noted that Nicholson and Moe Harkless "look noticably bigger in the arms and chest after spending countless hours in the weight room," but he added that, "I'm told of all #Magic players to make strides in weight room this summer PG Doron Lamb has made biggest jump. Could be another find for ORL."

Lamb came over from the Milwaukee Bucks when they stole Tobias Harris in the J.J. Redikk salary-dump last season. Fantasy owners are going to be keeping a close on on this roster as next season gets closer, because they have a lot of young, talented players who should have every opportunity to rack up stats.
