My Pops Forever RIP
31. Milwaukee Bucks- Glenn Robinson III, F, Michigan

Bucks draft Glenn Robinson’s son to provide more depth at the 3 and hope his talent can overcome his inconsistent play.

32. Philadelphia 76ers- Spencer Dinwiddie, G, Colorado

If not for a torn ACL, he would be draft much higher. Sixers add much needed shooting by selecting Dinwiddie.

33. Cleveland Cavaliers- Nikola Jokic, C, Serbia

Light on center prospects and down on Tyler Zeller, the Cavs select a project big who can hopefully be ready in a year to offer much needed help at the 5.

34. New York Knicks- Patric Young, C, Florida

A late trade last night involving the Dallas Mavericks puts the Knicks in this position. While they’d love to move up and draft more shooting, there’s a huge hole at center with the departure of Tyson Chandler. Knicks add Young whose nonstop motor and relentless energy could make him a fan favorite.

35. Utah Jazz- Jordan Clarkson, G, Missouri

At 6’5’’, Clarkson adds a much different look than 6’0’’ Trey Burke at guard as the Jazz can definitely use more help behind Burke.

36. Milwaukee Bucks- Thanasis Antetokounmpo, F, Delaware 87ers

While not as talented as his younger brother Giannis, he’s been spending time in D-League trying to develop his skills. The Bucks can continue to monitor his development as Antetokounmpo continues to grow out of the guard position.

37. Toronto Raptors- Jerami Grant, F, Syracuse

A bit of a fall for Grant, but he doesn’t have much of an offensive game. The Raptors hope his defense can earn him a rotation spot over guys like Landry Fields and John Salmons.

38. Detroit Pistons- C.J. Wilcox, G, Washington

Although they drafted Kentavious Caldwell-Pope last season, the Pistons could use more production out of SG, so they add a marksman from deep who enjoyed a very solid 4 year college career in Wilcox.

39. Philadelphia 76ers- Jarnell Stokes, F, Tennessee

Sixers need a massive overhaul of their bench. They can add an undersized PF who was a rebounding machine at Tennessee in Stokes.

40. Minnesota Timberwolves- Jabari Brown, G, Missouri

Minnesota must continue to add more outside shooting, so Flip Saunders drafts one of the best catch and shoot outside shooters in the country.

41. Denver Nuggets- Artem Klimenko, C, Russia

The Nuggets take a flier on another Russian big who seems to be slowly developing skills, but really needs work on his body if he wants to make it in the NBA in a few years.

42. Houston Rockets- DeAndre Daniels, F, UConn

Despite being a tweener, Daniels did a very good job playing off of Shabazz Napier. He’s a definite upgrade over Omri Casspi and Robert Covington and could definitely see playing time in spurts in small ball mode.

43. Atlanta Hawks- Markel Brown, G, Oklahoma State

With John Jenkins still recovering from an ailing back, the Hawks have to wonder whether they will need more outside shooting. I think they hedge their bets here and add more shooting who can contribute immediately if need be.

44. Minnesota Timberwolves- Vasilije Micic, G, Serbia

The Timberwolves stash away Micic as he needs to advance to a higher league to show off his natural skills in a pick n’ roll offense.

45. Charlotte Hornets- Damien Inglis, F, France

A possible first round pick, Inglis falls to 45 here because he has a long way to go offensively, though his defense is good enough to make the leap to the NBA now. The Hornets can afford to let him continue to develop offensive skills as he is still only 19.

46. Washington Wizards- Johnny O’Bryant, C, LSU

The Wizards could use more front court depth, and they go after a guy who was giving guys like Julius Randle fits this past season at LSU. Raw prospect vut could stand to learn some toughness under Nene.

47. Philadelphia 76ers- Cristiano Felicio, F, Brazil

The Sixers stock up on overseas bigs as they grab Felicio who was good enough to play for Oregon a couple of years ago (turned out to be ineligible). With improved competition, he could make it to the NBA very soon.

48. Milwaukee Bucks- Khem Birch, F, UNLV

Although he was as inconsistent as the UNLV team he played on, he does offer the Bucks nice upside as a shot blocker, since it’s no guarantee that Larry Sanders ever returns back to form.

49. Chicago Bulls- Alec Brown, C, Wisconsin-Green Bay

The Bulls selected Erik Murphy last season hoping he could provide what Alec Brown could: a big man with a deft outside touch. Murphy didn’t pan out, but at 49 the Bulls can afford to take another stab at it with Brown.

50. Phoenix Suns- Russ Smith, G, Louisville

Although Russ Smith doesn’t really have an NBA position, he was a champion at Louisville and showed he could hit huge shots at any given moment. Playing in Phoenix could really be a great place for him to show off his skills off the bench.

51. New York Knicks- Joe Harris, F, Virginia

The Knicks add the shooter they need in Harris to hopefully back up Carmelo Anthony should he return.

52. Philadelphia 76ers- Alessandro Gentille, G/F, Italy

Gentille is yet another Euro stash for Philly or for someone else should they (likely) trade this pick. Gentille needs serious work on his body if he ever wants to get to the NBA, though he may only have value as a throw-in for his rights.

53. Minnesota Timberwolves- Melvin Ejim, F, Iowa state

Minnesota adds a backup PF to a team doesn’t have one on the roster currently. Flip Saunders also must have good info on him by his friend Fred Hoiberg (Ejim’s coach at Iowa State)

54. Phiadelphia 76ers- Nemanja Dangubic, G, Serbia

Another stash pick here, Philly gets a guy who is a 6’8’’ PG who needs to gain more confidence in his game as he keeps developing.

55. Miami Heat- Cory Jefferson, F, Baylor

Udonis Haslem has seen his better days, so the Heat look to add more size any way they can as most of their bigs are free agents.

56. Orlando Magic- Devyn Marble, G, Iowa

The Magic don’t have very many good outside shooters, so they look to add one of the best scorers in the Big 10 in Marble.

57. Indiana Pacers- Nick Johnson, G, Arizona

The Pacers should be happy if he falls as he offers them insurance in case Lance Stephenson departs. He’s not nearly as good as Lance Stephenson, but he can come in and play PG moving George Hill off the ball in spurts.

58. San Antonio Spurs- Ioannis Papapetrou, F, Greece

San Antonio continues to make use of the draft and stash formula, selecting a sound defensive player with upside.

59. Toronto Raptors- Ojars Silins, F, Latvia

An outside shooter reminiscent of Steve Novak, Silins will need to continue to refine his outside game since he doesn’t offer much else.

60. San Antonio Spurs- Semaj Christon, G, Xavier

He was talked about as a first round lock at the beginning of the college season but a subpar season drops his stock. Here, the Spurs perhaps grab a guy who could replace Patty Mills should he leave in free agency.

Enjoy the draft brehs!

Good stuff, but you have Devyn Marble getting picked by Atlanta at 43 and Orlando at 56.

Is there any word on potential Lakers trades today? Whether to get an additional first rounder or move Nash and the #7?
