Yea...you know I was thinking about that.

What is going on w/ Melo now, is eerily reminiscent of 2011 Knicks...

We had Amare, balling but with health issues & a DPOY Tyson Chandler.

You guys have D.Rose, who will be balling w/ he comes back but his durability will remain a question mark & Noah the GOAT.

AT the time when we got Melo, he could have waited that season and signed w/ NY without anything going to Denver... and no damage to NY.

We have a very similar situation.

Be careful brehs...

My Kings brehs I slept on the pick, hated it at first but reading y'all breaking it down def has me feeling better about it. I actually do see this working out for us, I just wish we could get some other moves going. I don't like our PG situation at all:snoop:

But this pick def makes sense as we got nothing out of our sg spot last year, nothing. I don't even see Ben Mac recovering to be honest and it was all confidence from the looks of it. That highlight video made Stauskus look like the safe version of that Marshall Henderson nikka:heh:

McLemore just SCREAMS soft and seems to have a fragile mindset. His confidence was shot so early in the season and it all went downhill. It was too much too soon. Stauskas can fukkin ball breh. He's nothing like Jimmer. Only similarities are they are white and can shoot. That's it. Stop sleeping on Ray McCallum too breh. He went to work at the end of the season. If Isiah Thomas wants to get paid he can leave. We need someone who can distribute the rock and defend.

Yeah that's why I was :lupe: :blessed: when the rumor of Ben Mac being dealt for the 6th pick. He was drafted because it was thought he was mental tough and could shoot, but nah the lights got way too big for dude and honestly we are playing meaningless games...what happens when the lights get brighter?

I didn't know Stauskus could ball, I honestly thought we drafted the Novak kid from there:russ:

As for our pg situation I honestly don't feel like breaking bank for IT, he's just not a starter to me(Gets ready to duck tomatoes), if we gonna make any moves money wise I hope it's for Lowry or Bledsoe. A pit bull defender in our backcourt would allow us to buckle down defensively.

@Loose what the hell were the thunder thinking with that pick?

I like the Knicks taking cleanthony
which pick 29th? i'm not a fan of cleanthony he's a beyond pathetic defender and old(wll be 24) they wanted a 3 and D player I think its a solid pick probably could have gotten him later though.

I prefered KJ mcdaniels but Huestis is a better perimeter defender that can glue to guys. he shut down wiggins completely when they went up against eachother. I think he has potential to be thabo with a better jumper.

all in all i think we had a solid draft, it never looks good (steven adams reggie etc) these guys will be solid role players. mcgary for sure

I agree with you that IT isn't a starting PG. He's a perfect sixth man. Ray McCallum deserves that starting spot tho breh. He's nice.

There are a lot of striking similarities but there are some notable differences IMO. I personally believe a healthy Rose,Melo, and Noah under Thibs could win a championship if Melo buys in. Melo can get hot and the defense under Thibs would be stifling enough for them to win the more difficult series like vs MIA/SA. While I think a healthy Amare,Melo, and Chandler wouldn't of done much more than what the Knicks did accomplish during Melo's stay. To be honest Amare being oft injured during Melo's stay in NY kind of hid the fact that those two dudes couldn't really play well together, they operated under the same space offensively. Defensively the scheme(coaching) and players both were sub par.

I'm with it I know he will defend and get the ball to our go to guys. IT balled out last year and he deserves to get whatever a team will pay him. I just know our squad won't ever be shyt if we are paying him what he thinks he deserves:yeshrug:

We can bypass Phil though - just put it all on Melo and give him two options in our upcoming meeting

1) Sign for less but allow the Bulls to keep Taj, Mcdermott & Butler

or

2) Get his max in a sign/trade but the Bulls lose talent because they'd have to move Taj & either Mirotic/Mcdermott

If Melo is looking to win, he'll do the the right thing, a roster of

Rose/Kirk or DJ
Butler/??
Melo/Mcdermott
Taj/Mirotic
Noah/Smith

:banderas:
doing the right thing in this case would be to sign and get a sign and trade done with the knicks he can still get his money :youngsabo:

I still dont understand this "Wiggins is so athletic" talk, dude looks nowhere near the athletic level of nikkas like Bron, Wade, Westbrook, Rose, ect when they were drafted. I dont even see this ridiculous vert nikkas be talking about, where is the proof of this shyt. Fasho he has athleticism, but to be compared to Lebron athletically seems disrespectful to Bron. Even when I look at Parker, he looks a lot more athletic thn Wiggins as far as finishing at the basket.

Everytime I seen Wiggins I see him shooting floaters when he got to the rack, the nikka is too young and supposedly athletic to not be getting to the rack and going over nikkas. Something all the nikkas I mentioned did with ease during there pre pro careers. I see a great ability to pull up off the dribble with Wiggins, but I seen the same shyt with OJ Mayo and we all know how that turned out. I want Wiggins to live up to the hype and be a beast, but as of right now I just dont see the positives that analysts have brought up. For a supposed super athletic nikka, he has no highlights that showed that shyt thru his college career and I was not impressed by his athleticism while he was in high school. I see a lot more athleticism from Parker and analysts have said that Perker lacks in that area. Whats the deal breh's?????
This might be the worst post of the year breh it aint hard to find footage or pics of how freakishly athletic he is start the vid at 1:00minute boy in the air playing around up there

:whew:

:mindblown:

Yeah me and @khoff31 talked earlier and he sold me on the pick. Ben need to quit acting scared though. If I wanted a dude who didn't talk a lot, we should of kept Evans, at least homie can ball and play point. If IT comes off the bench as a 6th man, I'd happily give him 5-6 mil to be our Ginobli.

I wanna see McCallum and Staukas play with Cuz and Rudy. Maybe we should package Ben with our future pick and try to get a big. Lets talk to Milwaukee about Henson or hell even Denver with McGee.

@Ritzy Sharon what would yall want for McGee?
