I knew who he was the whole time considering the fact that here was an overwhelming request for him at 24 by the majority of hornets fans ive seen on twitter and other sites therefore I did my research long before the draft:what:. Who cares about being "undersized"? U act like being undersized has stopped guys like Kemba and Ty Lawson from playing at a high level.. PJ is a hometown guy and thats the only reason Hornets fans wanted him so much, i'd rather have undersized Shabazz than Luke Ridnours corpse or Gary Neal jacking up shots every time he touches the ball

Like I said, you have no idea what you're talking about if you had to do research on PJ Hairston. The moment he walk into the gym he's already the best shooter on the team. Maybe, just maybe, with Staukus and McDermott already off the board, Hornets fans wanted the next best shooter in the draft. His 3.4 three point makes per 40 mins is tops amongst all SG/SF in the draft. Wanting an undersized guard over a 6'5" 230lb SG with a 6'9" wingspan and a built in fanbase from being a local product is rooted in nonsense.

It isn't but that's basically the height/wingspan of the modern SF.

Ie. Jabari and Wiggins two wing players are the same height, with the same wingspans.
I get what you're saying but Aaron Gordon measured out almost identical to Randle as far as height and wingspan and nobody was saying anything. I know you don't like Gordon either.

I like Randle more than I like Gordon, he has a defined position which is PF, Gordon is a tweener that has no position.

that's extremely old in nba years. dude should be in his 5th year in the league. he either needs to pan out immediately or he'll slip. good thing for you guys is that he's a 2nd round flyer so y'alll are fine.
lol not everybody is in the league by 18 years old man. that's the prob nowadays. it's like if you're a 22 year old rookie you're too old, and alotta upper classmen kinda get penalized for it. dude could still put in 10 solid years, and is ahead of many others who need 2 seasons to get NBA ready. so he's likely ready to contribute good minutes right now.

I love th Hornets pick of PJ. The biggest thing the team was missing this year was wing scoring, and he addresses that solidly. A good complementary player that may have the occasional 20 point game when he gets going.

Yeah me and @khoff31 talked earlier and he sold me on the pick. Ben need to quit acting scared though. If I wanted a dude who didn't talk a lot, we should of kept Evans, at least homie can ball and play point. If IT comes off the bench as a 6th man, I'd happily give him 5-6 mil to be our Ginobli.

I wanna see McCallum and Staukas play with Cuz and Rudy. Maybe we should package Ben with our future pick and try to get a big. Lets talk to Milwaukee about Henson or hell even Denver with McGee.

@Ritzy Sharon what would yall want for McGee?

I'll take an expiring and Brotha Lynch Hung's new album. :lupe:

They won't regret it, trust me. And if you can get me a 20ppg scorer from the D-League for a team that has zero consistent perimeter scoring with the 26th pick, I'm all for it. Regardless of where he went to school. Bogdan Bogdanovic, CJ Wilcox, Joe Harris, Glen Robinson III, Nick Johnson, Markel Brown, Lamar Patterson, Nemanja Dangubic, and Jordan McRae were the rest of the shooting guards taken in the draft. Please tell me who on this list is better than PJ. Hornets addressed a need and chose the best available guy. Get over it.
