We got some picks we could trade to these teams wanting late 1st picks.

I wouldn't mind Presti going back to the Knicks about Shump. Only problem with getting him would be paying him after the season because I feel like he is going to be overpaid. If we could get him & sign him to a $5M a year deal that would be great.

We are in such a wierd spot with these young guys & their next contracts :leostare:

You really shouldn't have to worry about that, Shump wants to play for a winner and a team that respects him. OKC might be that place, plus with Sefolosha possibly leaving, I'm sure yall would but Shump at the starting 2 and have a healthy Lamb come off the bench.

More importantly, you guys are a small percentage points in regards to team talent from winning a chip.

I was reading up on a couple of prospects. I want a backup SF to come off the bench, (whether or not Melo stays). If somehow we could trade into the mid-late 20's...I am hoping Kyle Anderson from UCLAa is still available. Apparently he has great BBall IQ and passing ability that will translate intot he NBA. He also doesn't rely on athletecism(as he isn't top level atheltic) however with his 6'8 height & 7'2 wingspan I think he could be promising.

I love this kid, but I'm not sure the Knicks is the place for him. His game is kind of idiosyncratic, and I'm not sure the franchise or fanbase are ready to root for his game. Slow as fukk, can't jump.... people want to compare him to Jalen or Lamar... but Lamar was bigger and stronger, and Jalen was quicker...

If you don't want Hairston (who I think is a good, solid player) Payton is a guard I'd be really interested. Point Guard may not be our biggest need, but it's a need, and he's got a BOX of tools.

Bulls were fortunate to get the Charlotte pick in this draft

Id be upset if we cant draft a starter and a rotation player at 16 & 19

What position do you think you'll get a starter at? Sf or sg? I think the bulls should just do bpa.

C:Noah
PF:Gibson/Booz
Sf:?
Sg:butler
Pg:rose

I like Kyle Anderson, Hairston for the bulls.

Those arent bad selections for us, I would be pretty satisfied with those two.

I think we should be able to pull a starting wing (sg/sf) at 16.
If we are able to do that, then maybe use 19 to add a backup center of just take BPA.

Booz is going to be traded or amnestied and we should be bringing over Mirotic.

You should be able to get a player to start for you at SF with 16th pick tho, there's a plethora of really exciting players at that position available there.

Buy a pick, move up?

Wishful thinking. :sadcam: we need two young talents anyway. I'd prefer Payton at that spot.
Word has it Atlanta is on Anderson and Warren. They like both a lot. I like Anderson more for our system and we need someone if DMC leaves a year from now.

Word also has it that Payton could be a top 10 pick. Teams like him a lot. Some like him more than Nik S. The Kings seem to like him as much as Smart and Smart might be #4 which means Exum might be #5. I wouldn't be surprise if LA tried to move up a couple picks to get Exum or even Denver moves up.

This could be a good exciting draft like last years but with more depth and more potential. The dudes in last years class is about as NBA ready as this years.

why would denver move up? They need shooters, Exum/Lawson wouldn't be a good backcourt tandem
