When I saw the draft order, I immediately felt like Parker to the Bucks made the most sense for me...

I know they have Giannis already at SF but they need a guy that can just come in and get them buckets. Parker would be just that. I don't know about them playing him at the 4 though... I really think Parker would flourish there in Milwaukee. Even if they really like Giannis' game, do they like him enough to pass on Parker?

Why do I keep seeing people calling Jabari a tweener or a 4 :dahell:

Dude is a 3 thats a great scorer and not going to be a great defender, just like alot of people in the league

That don't make him a tweener

He would get destroyed trying to guard bigs on the block
To me he's a 3, but the way they use guys like Parker now, they just play him at the 4 and hope his offense will be enough.

If you wanna play the two of them together, on defense, it works this way

C Sanders
PF Henson
SF Parker
SG Antetokounmpo
PG Knight

on offense they may go

C Henson
PF Parker
SF Antetokounmpo
SG Wolters
PG Knight

What they shouldn't do is make it so they have to choose between Giannis or Jabari. That's the type of shyt teams like Milwaukee can't afford to do (and where I can lament on the shooting guard position)

Long term, you'll ultimately have two guys that ideally need to be 3's. Luckily, Giannis projects to be such a good defender than he can hide Parker. If they were similar in that regard, one would have to go.

Are you counting Illysova and Mayo as on the way out?

Defense:
C:Sanders
PF:Henson/illy
SF:Parker:
SG:Gianns/Mayo
PG:Knight

Offense:
C:Sanders
PF:Parker/illy
SF:Ginnas
SG:Mayo
PG:Wolters

I think if he gets back into shape OJ can bounce back and Illy is a good stretch 4....I wonder if the Bucks will make a run at Collison or IT to be a pg.

Draft news and updates:

2. Denver's shopping #11 for a proven commodity. Charlotte, LA, Sacramento, Utah are also shopping their picks (Utah to move back, Charlotte to move up, LA and Sacramento for vet help).

7. If Minnesota moves up in the draft (via Love trade) Marcus smart is Flip's #1 pick. Hardy speculative since he's the only non PF he requested for a workout. Smart has yet to sign up.
2 things:

What does it realistically take to move up to the mid/late teens in this draft? If the Bulls are willing to package 16 & 19 would any of those teams be interested?

If the Wolves are scheduling exclusively PFs for workouts, do you think that is signaling a Love trade this summer?

DX just posted a new mock this morning after Jonathan Givony got back from the Adidas Eurocamp with NBA GMs there. http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2014/

They got Smart and Vonleh as top 5 picks now. Exum moved out of the top 5. Stauskas moves into the top 10. Nurkic and Saric move out of the top 10. Kristap Porzingis moves 6 spots up to #15 with the Hawks. TJ Warren falls to #20.

they always have Lavine falling past 15 - i just dont see it

also, it wouldnt make sense for the Bulls to take Ennis with Lavine & Young on the board, thats strange, unless the Bulls are VERY high on Ennis :dahell:

Word....Word on the street must be the Bulls FO either hate Lavine or LOVE Ennis. DX has seemed to have a pulse on our picks.

I know that I didn't get a say so but I'd like to see the Grizz take Glenn Robinson III.

Jerami Grant may be higher ranked but Grant is limited on offense outside of slashing to the basket. Neither are great ball handlers but GR3 has the much better jumper

Damn my dude semaj christon fell out of the draft and Isaiah Austin is moving up...smdh skinny weak side shot blocker who can hit the long ball but is too weak to do a damn thing else.

The bulls could move 16/19 to any team from 11 and down. If I was minny or Orlando I'd be especially interested...not much difference from 11-20 in the players drafted...I have this draft In tiers.
Tier 1:Wiggins, Parker, Embiid
Tier 2:Randle, Exum, Vonleah, Smart, McDermott, Harris, Saric, Nurkic, Stuakhaus
Tier 3: Payne and those guys
tier 4: late 1st early 2nd
Tier 5: The rest

Either Love is gone this summer or at the trade deadline.

A lot of teams don't have shotblockers, cyclops or not that's one thing he can do adequately. I'm surprised Semaj Christon fell all the way from top 20 to undrafted...what happened with him?
