They could take him for the same reason you have them taking Nurkic. Just asset compiling (and if you look at the Suns' backcourt, not a whole lot behind Bledsoe /Dragic

Nurkic can contribute regardless of when he comes over, though. LaVine isn't a sure thing to that extent.

They aren't taking Lavine. Not only is he not a shooter but he won't see an NBA floor for a few years :laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:

Nurkic is in another tier than Hood. If they want a wing they grab 1 at the end of the 1st :ohhh:

Idiots step up and get beat down.
Idiots? YOU posted the dumb shyt, dont get mad at me when you cant come up with a way to justify your shytty predictions that make no sense and have 0% chance of happening.

So Suns wont take Lavine cause you dont think he'll see the floor for a few years. But they WILL take the center they dont need which you just described as a "potention stash guy" meaning he wont see the floor for a few years. Makes sense, good job.

Hey but its not all bad, I did see one mock that had Phoenix taking Nurkic...with the 27th pick, that is :mjlol:

There's more of a logjam ahead of Nurkic than there would be ahead of LaVine or any guard. Len, Plumlee, even Markieff Morris could play some C. I don't think that's an immediate need. Unless Nurkic is staying overseas til Phoenix knows what they have in Len, Nurkic would be someone you only pick for someone else.

They definitely need a center, gnat.

Mention Alex Len brehs :laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:

Maybe someone does trade up but I don't see him dropping because of need. Len is definitely a bust imo and Plumlee is best as a reserve :manny:

He could easily rise. I wanna see how his workouts go (it's still early in the process, workouts are just getting scheduled. Bigs always tend to rise in drafts, but there isn't a great book out on him to have us all think he's a lotto lock just off talent yet, but they always come. His peak could be as high as 9 and only because Boston couldn't pass up the players that would fall to them. Otherwise I'd say 6.)

Yeah, I'd place him higher if I knew he was going to come ASAP

They're still high on Len and are investing a lot into him this summer. Plumlee is also young and just had basically his rookie year. They have zero young shooters on the wing.

Do some research next time and you wont have to look stupid and get mad.

No, it'd be foolish to take that bet with impending trades

I'd bet you won't get Stauskas, Young, Harris or McDermott in your current spot :manny:
Again, the only reason at least one of em wouldnt be available at 14 is if nobody takes Nurkic. You think Nurkic is a game-changing talent so him dropping to 14 in your mock doesnt make sense anyway as theres teams ahead of Phoenix that would be more apt to take him first. If Nurkic is dropping for some reason Phoenix is more likely to still take Hood or Warren before him and hope he keeps dropping a couple more spots to 18. If hes not there they take Capela who fits their playstyle more anyway :yeshrug:

:wtf: what reason is this?
Did you just draft a Euro center with a high pick last year? And have another young center thats basically also a rookie w/ potential? Are you aware that your star big man wont be with the team much longer and it wouldnt hurt to draft another talented post guy to fill that spot? And the player in question could be a younger clone of Pek that you could start on his rookie contract?

Pick your favorite, any of em make more sense than him going to Phoenix.
