So according to these stats of the guys projected to be top 8, Embiid has the highest chance of being a star with Randle having the highest chance of being a bust.

Interesting....is this the first year he's done this chart or are there prior years you can find? Would like to see how successful those projections have actually become.
alright here is the whole database going back to mainly 84'... the first season that pops up is the 2013 draft class and you can see which class your in by the farthest right column (N) as you scroll down.

at the bottom you can also look at comparisons, consensual mocks, and model ratings by position

If Utah, Philly, or Orlando is dumb enough to put together a WTF package for him I'm all on board.

If the Cavs keep him, I could live with it. He won't be asked to be the man there. They already have 2 1/2 alpha dogs on the team as is.

He'd work hard and play his role under Blatt. He'd also be comfortable around the other Canadians already on the squad.

You'd be banking that 3 or 4 years later he can iron out his major techinal flaws and become more fluid.

I think we sometimes overstate the inevitability of development. I do like Wiggins' defensive potential as a wing, but I'm skeptical of him developing an elite feel for the game. It's like flow or rhythm - by a certain point you either have it or you don't. All this combine bullshyt is creating the same overthinking and pipedream-chasing so many NFL execs fall victim to. A 50 inch vert and a mutant wingspan aren't the be all and end all to a player's future worth. Hopefully Wiggins proves me wrong. I wouldn't touch him. He makes me nervous.

I agree that some things just cannot be developed. I also believe that you have to land in the right situation to be successful.

He's the best option for the Cavs outside of Embiid. He will get by on his perimeter defense and looks in the transistion in his first season. He'll just be a role player on the squad his first few seasons.

Blatt's offense isn't iso dominant. He won't be asked to consistently breakdown or create space to get points in a half court set. He's either going to be spotting up or coming off cuts.

His handles have improved but still need major major work. Trust, I have the same fears. He is from soft ass Canada. That is a red flag in itself.

Something doesn't sit well with me that Embiid will likely go top 4 and not end up a Cav.

If he can go #4, he can go #1

The Heat have made some questionable moves lately, why not use that pick and try to get Clint Capella? Aiming for yet another PG is just a lateral move.

I'd look at this and sign Jimmer to play 'Point'. Would work as long as Lebron cones back. :manny:
