One thing that had me trippin tonight or yesterday night whatever is how many times the analyst used the term elite defender when describing a prospect. I don't recall a draft with this many "elite" defenders, are these dudes blowing smoke or is the league really getting an influx of good defenders?

He has potential as a defensive big, not much else, but being 7'2" with a 7'9" wingspan you don't need to be much more than that.

He also can do more than that. He can pass, he's smart with the ball, he can make a strong move, WAY better athlete than people realize.

And he's not a chucker by design, he was a chucker by function and role. Important difference.
