"Can we get away from just defaulting Alabama as the best one loss team every year?"

In reference to them currently being ranked higher than other teams that are undefeated/have 1 loss also

Exactly, let him cook in College. It won't affect his draft stock, Gurley got hurt and was still a top 10 pick, Clowney basically took 2013 off due to injury and still was the #1 pick. Of course they can always change the rule, but the conversation always come up when you have a freakish athlete like him

not that you WANT dude to get hurt, but Gurley proved teams will take the risk when your an A+ prospect

the NFL is the one league where i do agree with the limit, 99.9% of players arent ready after 2 years of college training. theres exceptions, but not many. i doubt they budge off it

On the contrary, Robert Quinn had to miss the 2010 season and was still a top 10 pick so suggesting a player should aint a horrible idea. Thing is, you dont want to set THAT standard for FUTURE players to just up and quit the team

It's stupid this year imo...their defense and QB play looked horrible in their one loss

The only problem there is who else deserves that spot? All these other top 10 teams are still escaping with undefeated records...

let's be reality.....the "Big 12 doesn't play defense" is a complete MYTH and I'm tired of hearing it on ESPN, etc.

The fact is, the spread offenses are just too good. When the Big 12 plays other conferences like Big 10, SEC, etc., the games are fairly normal scoring wise.

Look what TCU did to Ole Miss, WVU pretty much shutout Maryland, OU defense held Tenn is check that whole 2nd half, Texas Tech held their own against Arky, but gave up 50+ to TCU. Playing against "normal" offenses is easier.

Schematically, nobody can shutdown these offenses. Mich St was a damn good defense last year, and they gave up 600 yards to Baylor in that bowl game. 600!

:whoa:

nah breh Fournette appears to be different from everyone on that list. With the exception of Peterson, who should honestly be on a separate lists from these guys.

Last year Fournette didnt live up to the hype as a freshman, but this year he's clearly better. Only question is if he can hold up injury wise. But physically, he's not like the rest of them.

I heard EMU is almost last in run defense...is this correct?:merchant:

Yea he'll prolly only play one half tho.

Fournette had a 87 yard TD called back be of an illegal formation that had nothing to do with the TD. He really had over 300 yards last game.

I don't care about all QBs, I just need enough to develop so I won't have to hear about Fournette
Unfortunately you gonna hear about him a lot this weekend when he breaks the single game rushing record playing against eastern scUM :scust:
