Our season may start on Sept. 5, but the real analysis starts the week after when Oklahoma travels to Knoxville(Tennessee).
I hope our defensive issues have been resolved, because it will be a long season if they aren't. I think in the trenches, it's a push in the sense that Tennessee may have a slight advantage because we lost 3 starting OL and all of our quality depth. We'll see if our OL coach will make men out of the OL that have been riding the bench. Tennessee wants this game, so the defense will most definitely play inspired ball. I can see this game being similar to OU/FSU 2010.
As far as offense, I believe it's a push as well, except at the RB position. IMHO, OU has the advantage, but what good will that do with a new OL with one game under their belt? Tennessee has names, OU has names, most only semi proven or untested(especially OU'S WR corp... they need to step up this year.)
Tennessee wins big or OU wins very close.
@jadillac I see you are ready for this season. What are your expectations for this season?
