Cam Newton led a bunch of scrubs to the natty in 2010 by himself. Tim Tebow had an NFL squad around him and lost to a less talented alabama team in 2009. If Urban Meyer had done the sensible thing and started Cam Newton from the jump over that scrub tebow, Florida would've won 4 straight nattys. 2006-2010. rather than just 2 in 4 years.

look back at those florida teams. they were literally a mini-NFL team. all those stars made that scrub Tebow look better than he was.

I shudder to think what Cam Newton would've done with actual talent around him.

I been saying this for months now. Good to see the experts are catching on. All the analytics say LSU is EASILY the 3rd best team in the country after Ohio State and Alabama. They've had elite recruiting classes in the same class as Ohio State. They also played alot of freshmen last year and those guys performed extremely well. Plus their schedule is relatively easy (in terms of SEC west teams).

They're my favorite to make the playoff from the SEC.

Auburn is extremely overrated going into this season. Only way they live up to the preseason hype is if Jeremy johnson is Cam Newton. I don't think so. I think he'll be really good. But he won't be on that 2010 Cam God level where he carries a team of scrubs on his back.

Texas A&M and LSU are the class of the SEC West after Alabama. I've been saying LSU will win. But I could see any of those 3 winning it.

Tennessee has the east locked down. Georgia is extremely overrated this season.

LSU better than TCU now Brehs?

TCU is hot muthafukkin garbage. They won't even finish in the top 3 in the Big 12 this year. IMO the Big 12 goes:

1. Oklahoma
2. Baylor
3. Oklahoma St.

TCU lived off a crazy turnover margin last year. Usually teams that have crazy swings in turnover margin from one year to the next don't do that well the season after they had a significant advantage in turnover margin. Its amazing to me that people forget they were a 4-8 team last year at this time.

One lucky season doesn't make me change my opinion of a team. TCU had a lucky season last year. They'll regress back to the mean this season. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota beat them in the opener this thursday.
